Getting Started

What is ScholarBitBook?
ScholarBitBook is a transcript management platform designed specifically for homeschool families. We help you create professional, verifiable academic records that colleges and employers trust—while keeping you in complete control of your data.
Who is ScholarBitBook for?
ScholarBitBook is built for homeschool parents, microschools, and co-ops who want professional transcripts with built-in verification. Whether you're a single-family homeschool or running a learning community, we have tools designed for your needs.
How is this different from creating my own transcript?
While you can certainly create your own transcripts, they lack any form of verification. ScholarBitBook provides cryptographic timestamps that prove when each entry was recorded, making your transcripts tamper-evident and more credible to colleges and employers.

Verification & Security

How does the verification work?
When you save changes to a transcript, we create a cryptographic hash (a unique fingerprint) of your data and anchor it for verification. This hash doesn't contain any personal information—it just proves that your exact records existed at a specific time. Anyone can verify the hash matches without seeing your private data.
Is my data stored on the blockchain?
No. Your actual records are stored securely in our encrypted database. Only a cryptographic hash (a mathematical fingerprint) is used for verification. This hash cannot be reversed to reveal your data—it only serves as proof of existence and timing.
How can colleges verify my transcript?
Each transcript includes a unique verification code. Colleges can visit our verification page, enter the code, and instantly confirm that the transcript is authentic and hasn't been altered since it was created.

Ownership & Privacy

Who owns my data?
You do. Always. We are a tool for your records, not the owner of them. You can export your complete data at any time, and if you ever choose to leave, you take everything with you.
Can microschools access my child's records?
Only if you explicitly grant permission. Microschools can contribute course data and notes, but you maintain ultimate control. You can revoke access at any time, and the microschool immediately loses the ability to view or modify records.
Do you sell my data?
Absolutely not. We will never sell, share, or monetize your family's educational data. Our business model is simple: you pay for the service, and we protect your privacy.

Founder Program

What is the Founder Program?
The Founder Program is a limited cohort of 200 early adopters who get lifetime access at a locked-in price. Founders help shape the product through feedback and early access to new features. This offer will never be repeated.
What does 'lifetime access' mean?
Lifetime access means you pay once and can use ScholarBitBook for as long as the Company continues to operate the Service in substantially similar form. Your rate is locked — no price increases or surprise fees. This may include provider changes, infrastructure changes, and feature improvements over time.
When does the Founder Program end?
The Founder Program ends when we reach 200 members or on January 31, 2027—whichever comes first. After that, new users will pay standard pricing (which will be higher).

Features

Can I create multiple transcripts?
Yes! Family accounts support multiple students. Each child gets their own transcript with individual courses, grades, and verification.
What formats can I export?
You can export professional PDF transcripts ready for college applications, as well as complete data exports in standard formats for your own records.
Does ScholarBitBook help with state compliance?
We provide guidance and templates aligned with homeschool regulations in all 50 states. However, we are not a legal service—you're responsible for ensuring your homeschool meets your state's requirements.
